Hello friend....
If you place two mirror at an angle, rather than one multiple images are formed. This is because the image formed in the first mirror acts as the object for the second mirror.
In this case, if you place the mirrors at right angle (90°), then the formula 360/n -1 is used, where n is the angle between the mirror.
Here, n= 90. So,
360/90–1
=4–1 = 3.
Therefore, 3 images will be formed.
Hope this answer helped. Thanks for your precious time.

Heya...
Ques :- Why are multiple images formed when two mirrors are placed at right angles to each other?
Answer _______________
This is because of when we placed two mirrors right angles to each other then the object formed by a mirror act as an object for other one...
See the illustration....
Two mirrors place at right angles 90° = n
So... image formed as :-
360/n-1
360/90-1
4-1
= 3
So.. here 3 images will formed...
Thank you
