temperature is constant in both conditions e.g., T = 30°C or 303K .so we have to apply Boyle's law of gaseous theory.
Here, P1 = 1 bar , V1 = 500 dm³,
V2 = 200 dm³ , P2 = ?
now, 1 bar × 500 dm³ = P2 × 200 dm³
P2 = 2.5 bar
hence, minimum pressure required to compress is 2.5 bar
