Answer :

  • Hence, k is 4

Given :

  • If (2 ,0) is a solution of the linear equation 2x + 3y = k

To find :

  • Value of k

Solution :

Given,

  • 2x + 3y = k

Then, 2x + 3y = k is eq (1)

We know that,

  • (2 , 0) = (x , y)

Where, x = 2 and y = 0

Now Substituting the value of x and y in equation (1) we get,

》2x + 3y = k

》2(2) + 3(0) = k

》k = 4

Hence, k is 4

More Explanation :

  • A linear equation is nothing in one variable x is an equation so that can be written in the form ax + b = 0
  • Where , a and b are real numbers then a is not equal to zero
  • Example of linear equation is 3x + 9 = 12
