Answer:

i) a=7

ii) median =11

Step-by-step explanation:

mean = sum of all observations /  no. of observations

i)a+a+6+a+2+a+8+a+4/5=11

5a+20=55

5a=35

a=7

ii) median = n+1/2 th term

ie., 5+1/2 nd term

=6/2=3rd term ie., a+4= 7+4 =

median=11
