1) Dimensions of greenhouse:

l = 30 cm, b = 25 cm, h = 25 cm

Total surface area of green house = 2(lb + bh + lh)
= 2(30×25 + 25×25 + 25×30)
= 4250cm2

(ii) Length of the tape needed = 4(l + b + h)
= 4(30 + 25 + 25)
= 320 cm

Given: Dimensions of herbarium:

l = 30 cm, b = 25 cm, h = 25 cm

i) Area of the glass=Total surface area of herbarium

 = 2(lb + bh + lh)

= 2(30×25 + 25×25 + 25×30)

= 2(750+625+750)

=2×2125

= 4250cm²

(ii) herbarium in in the shape of cuboid.

So Length of the required tape will be equal to total length of edges of cuboid.

Length of the tape= 4(l + b + h)
= 4(30 + 25 + 25) = 4× 80
= 320 cm.

Tape needed for all the 12 edges=320 cm
