1. Which Heater for high resistance?
2. If IKWH is priced at 30 paisa, which heater will be turned costlier if they run for 1 hour each?

Answer is following :

Given data for heater A

power = 100w

voltage = 220V

and for B is

power = 150w

voltage = 220V

now

  1. Resistance of both heater

R(A) = V²/P = 220²/100

R(B) = 220²/150

now resistance is invertionally proportional to power

so the Resistance of A >B

2. Here the second answer is B

because the power of B is more than that of A , and power causes the loss of money . so it is costlier.
