Answer:

Pressure from girl's heel > Pressure from Elephant

Explanation:

In the question,

Weight of the Elephant = 40,000 N

Area of the foot of the elephant = 1000 cm².

Weight of the girl = 400 N

Area of stiletto heel of the girl = 1 cm².

Now,

We know that Pressure is,

P=\frac{F}{A}

So,

Pressure of Elephant is,

P=\frac{40,000}{1000\times 10^{-2}\times10^{-2}} \\Because,\\1\ cm^{2}=10^{-4}\ m^{2}\\So,\\P=400,000\ N/m^{2}

Also,

Pressure of Girl's heel is,

P=\frac{400}{10^{-4}}\\P=4000,000\ N/m^{2}

Therefore, the pressure generated by girl's heel is more than that of generated by Elephant's heel.
