Answer:

apply PV=nRT

Explanation:

the total number of moles is 3+2+5=10

p=3

t=273+25=298

R=0.0821

So the answer is 81.55Lit

Volume of cylinder should be - 81.45 litres

According to ideal gas law equation,

PV = nRT

In the equation,

P denotes pressure, v denotes volume, n denotes number of moles, r denotes gas constant and t denotes temperature.

Given values in question are -

P = 3atm

V = to be calculated

n = 2+5+3

Number of moles = 10

R = 0.082 L atm/mol·K

T = 273+25

Temperature = 298 K

Thus, putting the values in equation,

V = nRT/P

V = 10*0.082*298/3

V = 81.4 litres

Thus, volume required to contain these gases is 81.45 litres.
