Food preservation

It is the process in which there is a practice where no microorganism get into the food this practice has been in use since many years before .

In this process such as yeasts (although some methods work by introducing benign bacteria or fungi to the food), and slow the oxidation of fats that cause rancidity.

Example like oil is a prisiver . it is used so that food do not get rotten . By preserving food, food waste can be reduced, which is an important way to decrease production costs and increase the efficieny of food systems .

It improve food security and nutrition and contribute towards environmental sustainability.
