Following steps:

  • Draw any line AB using scale.
  • Also draw perpendicular line with AB set-square like DX\perp AB as shown in figure.
  • Take D as center and 5\ cm as radius draw an arc on line DX at C
  • At C, draw a perpendicular line CE with CD using set-square.
  • Where CE\parallel AB
