1) apply the product rule
f'(x) = (x-b)× d/dx(x-a) + (x-a)×d/dx(x-b)
=>( x-b)×1 + (x-a)×1
=> 2x-(a+b)
2) apply the chain rule directly
g'(x) = 2(ax²+b) × 2ax
=> (2ax²+2ax+2b)×2ax
=> (4a²x³ + 4a²x² + 4abx)
3) apply the division rule .
k'(x) = (x-b) d/dx(x-a) - (x-a)d/dx(x-b) / (x-b)²
=> a-b/(x-b)²
