5x + 1 > -24
subtract 1 from both sides,
5x + 1 -1 > -24 -1
5x > -25
divide by 5 in both sides,
x > -5 , x∈(-5,∞)

again,
5x - 1 < 24
add 1 both sides
5x -1 + 1 < 24 + 1
5x < 25
x < 5 , x∈(-∞, 5)
in number line : see attachment (B)
common set of number in number line is solution . e.g x∈(-5, 5)
