a) even if the army is disciplined, it doesnt matter because the army is good at defending the country, and they are physically trained. whereas government politicians require mental knowledge and specific skills to handle the population. so the one who is good at the job, should be the one to do it.
b) rule of the majority is not the rule of ignorant people. majority is chosen by the people themselves, and they see them as their elected representatives. this majority is also wise, and if we have the rule of the minority, then the population which considers the majority apt for governing, will possibly be upset with the outcome. people have thought wisely before electing and hence their wishes should be respected as the rule of majority
c) this statement is very much wrong. state and religion NEED to be kept separate at all times. if the religious leader of one religion starts controlling the government, it is highly probable that the person will make laws and rules to benefit his own religion, and would ignore the needs of other people belonging to different religions. this will cause tyranny of the government and a lot of chaos, resulting in a sort-of dictatorship.
