8.

∵ (A+B+C) can do a work in 10 days.

∴ (A+B+C)'s one day work = 1/10 th part.

Now ,

(A+B)'s one day work = 1/40+1/30 = 7/120 th part.

C's one day work = 1/10 - 7/120 = 5/120 = 1/24 th part.

So

C can do this work alone in 24 days.

Thank u.

A alone can do work in=40 days
A one day work=1/40

B alone can do work in=30days
B one day work=1/30

C alone can do work in=x days
C one day work=1/x

TOGETHER A,B,C can do in =10 days
A,B,C in one day work=1/10
A/Q
1/30+1/40+1/x=1/10.
At last C and do in=24 days
