X-7y+5=0
First convert into slope intercept form
That is y=mx+c
Then , you get y=1/7x +5/7
M=1/7 , slope of line perpendicular is m2 =-1/m1 that is m2 = 7
Equation of line with slope -7 and with point {3,y}
As you know, if a line makes an intercept x. The equation of the line is y=m{x-d}, so,
Y= -7{x-3}
Y = -7x+21 so y+7x= 21 is the answer
