Given:
∆ABC is an equilateral triangle.
To Prove:
∠A = ∠B = ∠C=60°
Proof: Since, all three angles of an equilateral∆ are equal.
⇒∠A =∠B = ∠C..........(1)
Also,
∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180° ( by angle sum property)
∠A + ∠A + ∠A=180° . (from eq.1)
⇒ 3∠A = 180°
⇒ ∠A = 180°/3=60°
∠A =60°
Therefore, ∠A = ∠B = ∠C = 60°
Hence, the angles of an equilateral triangle are 60° each.
