The country is not a democratic country. The reasons are as follows:

  • The only feature of a democratic country that this country has is that of voting rights.
  • The government is not willing to provide sufficient health and education facilities. Thus, they are taking away the right to education of the citizens.
  • The Freedom of Speech and Expression is also restricted as the means to communicate are handled by the government itself. No one can speak a word against the government either on the radio or newspaper, as they will be arrested.
  • The right to protest is also not facilitated. Peaceful protestations are not allowed and jailed for such matters.
  • The freedom of language is also barred since only a single language is taken to be the language of the entire nation.
