Answer:

sin(X+Y)= 1 = sin90

so, X+Y = 90.........(i)

Also cos(X–Y) = 1 = cos 0

so X–Y = 0 .........(ii)

apply (i) + (ii), we get

2X = 90

X = 45° & Y = 45°
