Electric power is given by formula -

P = V²/R

When R = constant,

P ∝ V²

Given that V' = 2V,

P'/P = (V'/V)²

P'/P = (2V/V)²

P'/P = 4

P' = 4P

Therefore, power will be quadrupled on doubling potential difference.
