x { 1 + 1/2 + 1/3 } < 11
x{ (6 + 3 + 2)/6} < 11
x (11/6) < 11
11x/6 < 11
divide by 11 both sides,
x/6 < 1
multiply with 6 both sides,
x < 6 , hence, x € (-∞, 6)
in number line :
