Step-by-step explanation:

  1. option D is correct A =24 days , B= 30 days , C=40 days ,[LCM= 120] one day they can produce 12 units of work ,. total work =120 units ,. however 4 days before completion c leaves which means a plus b work for 4 days alone producing 9 units per day 6 units. therefore work completed by A-B-C[120 -36] 84 units A+B+C work for 7 days producing 84 units and a + b work for 4 days producing 36 units total 7 + 4 = 11 days therefore the answer is 11
