Qᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ :-

A bulb is rated at 200 volt with power of 100W . what its resistance? if 5 such bulbs burns for 4 hours what is the electrical energy consumed? calculate the cost of the rate is 50 paise per unit.

Aɴsᴡᴇʀ :-

P = V²/R

➙ 100 = 200 × 200/R

➙ R = 400 ohm

Energy consumed by bulb = Power × time

➙ 100 w × 4 h

➙ 400 wh

Energy consumed by 5 bulbs

➙ 400 wh × 5

➙ 2000 wh

Cost ➙ 2000 × ½

➙ 1000/-

Hey mate here is your answer:-

P=V^2/R

OR,100=200×200/R

OR,R=400 OHM

E=PT

OR,100×4×5

OR,2000WH

So, cost of bulbs are 2000×50/100

=Rs.1000/-

hope you liked it a lot!!!
