No. of days in January= 31
if he works every day in Jan he will get 65*31= 2015
if he works 28 days, earned = 65*31 - 3*10(coz he was absent three days)
= 1790

Answer:3

Step-by-step explanation:

The worker gets ₹65 for every day he works but is fined 10 for everyday of his absence.

Let , during his service period of 31 days in the month of january, he remains absent for x number of days. So, the amount of money he makes in (31-x) days after substracting the fine he accumulates in those x days will be his final income, i.e., 1790

Thus the equation becomes:

65×(31-x) - 10x = 1790

x=3

So he was absent for 3 days from work
