Printed area is =24- 0.75x-0.50ywhere x and y

are the length and breadth of the sheet.

Also, xy = 24

24-0.75x-12/x

0.75+12/x²=0

x²=16

x=4 and y = 6

printed area 24-3-3= 18sq meters

Answer:

Printed area is =24−0.75x−0.50y where x,y are the length and breadth of the sheet.

Also, xy=24

24 - 0.75x -  \frac{12}{x}  \\

 - 0.75 +  \frac{12}{ {x}^{2} }   = 0 \\

 {x}^{2}  = 16  \\

X= 4, Y = 6

Printed area = 24−3−3=18 sq.meters
