\large{\boxed{\tt{Answer:-}}}

Given:-

Resistance (R) = 4 ohm.

Length of wire (l) = l

Area of Cross section = A

\large{\boxed{\tt{Explanation:-}}}

We know that:-

R = ρ I / A

Apply the values to the equation:-

4 = ρ l/A

R_f = \rho 2l / A 2

R_f =4 \rho l / A

R_f = 4R

R_f = 16 ohm

Hence, the charge in the resistance is 16 ohm.

let initial resistor length be l and area is a

so

R = row* l/a

row*l/a = 4-------(1

New resistor

length double = 2l

area is half = a/2

so new resistor = 4row *l/a

putting the value of -------(1

R = 4*4=16ohm
