Answer:

Let the sum invested at 9% be Rs. x and that invested at 11% be Rs. (100000 - x).

Then,

=(x×9×1100)+[(100000−x)×11×1100]=(100000×394×1100)⇔9x+1100000−11x100=390004=9750⇔2x=(1100000−975000)=125000⇔x=62500∴Sum invested at 9%=Rs. 62500Sum invested at 11%  = Rs.(100000−62500)=Rs. 37500

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount - 100000

2 shares -9% & 11% p.a ,year end total int. 39/4

9% 11℅

39/4

-----------------------

then , 36%. 44%

39%

5%. 3%

now invested amount a1 - 100000× (5/100)/8 = 12500 ×5= 62500

a2 - 100000× (3/100)/8 = 12500 ×3=37500
