QUESTION :- An ice-cream vendor buys 250 ice-cream cups at the rate of ¥7 per cup. Due to bad weather, 10 cups get spoiled, he sold the remaining ice-cream cups at 2 for ¥17. Find his gain or loss percent.​

10*7=70=cost of ice cream wasted

no.of ice-cream left=250-10(no. of ice creams wasted given in the question)=240

total amount earned =2for17 so 1 for 8.5 so 240 for (8.5*240)=2040

as 2040 is greater than 1750 so there is a profit

profit = 2040-1750=290

so profit percentage =profit /cost price* 100

=290/1750*100

=16.57%
