The poem 'the wind in frolic' is written in a manner that it is answering its thoughts in a symbolic manner to us. If the wind is in the fun mood, it starts disturbing others. It shows this behavior  by showing different signs. It blows off the hats of women and children. The fruits which are held in the tree will fall down and the children go behind them and collect it.

The wind also destroys the farm and also disturbs the cattle on the farm by showing its terrifying face. The wind blows heavily and disturbs the birds which are taking rest in the branches.
