The time of a simple pendulum can be calculated by the following formula = Total time taken/no of oscillations
Example : A simple pendulum takes 20s to complete 20 oscillations. What is the time period of pendulum
sol : No of oscillations = 20
Time taken = 20s
So,Time period = Time taken/no of oscillations = 20s/20 = 1 s
Hope this is helpful!

Answer:
- The period of a simple pendulum is T=2π√Lg T = 2 π L g , where L is the length of the string and g is the acceleration due to gravity.
- Calculate the period of oscillations according to the formula above: T = 2π√(L/g) = 2π * √(2/9.80665) = 2.837 s . Find the frequency as the reciprocal of the period: f = 1/T = 0.352 Hz . You can also let this simple pendulum calculator perform all calculations for you!
- Dividing the total time by the total number of oscillations, we get the time for one oscillation (or time-period) of the pendulum.
