It was a scary cold winter night, Raman was wearing a long coat and a muffler around his neck and was taking long steps on the metalled road. There was a turning on the road which led to the small house, the people there reffered it as a 'smoking hole' meaning, where people went to smoke because it was a small, scary and at the end of the town, house.

He walked towards the pathway and noticed a gigantic tree, lying on the road. He tried to call out for help to remove it from the pathway but nobody listened. He then, left the pathway and started approaching towards his grandmother's house he was living in. He heard footsteps, in the middle of the night, wondering "Who could it be?" He turned around and noticed noone. He considered the sound as his hallucination and continued walking. He heard a scream, from his gramma's house and rushed towards her. By the time he reached there, her grandmother disappeared. He couldn't find him in the whole house. He even asked the neighbours, but noone knew. He then approached the smoking hole again, lit his ciggerate and started thinking about reporting to the police, he felt hands around his neck trying to grop him. He got a sight of man in a long coat and a muffler around his neck. Was it his shadow come alive?

Was it his grandma turned into a ghoul? noone was and there is no trace of them till today.
