Sauron - Great! I was thinking why is this independence day celebrated ? Do you have any idea?
Juhi - Yeah. Want to hear more about Independence Day?
Sauron - Of course !!
Juhi - Hmm. Let me start then
Sauron - Sure.
Juhi - India is an independent country now but it wasn't always so. India was under the rule of the British for about 2 centuries!
Sauron - Then how did it got its independence?
Juhi - Due to the sacrifices of our beloved freedom fighters. Their sacrifices will be never forgotten.
Sauron - Can you name some of them?
Juhi - Indeed , why not ? Some of them are Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh.
Sauron - Hmm. When did India got its independence?
Juhi - On 15th August , 1947 midnight.

Juhi : Yay ! we have a holiday on 15th August, lets go for a movie together ?
Hrutvij : Sure, but remember that are teachers will give us a lot of work to do and I think, I'll take the whole day to complete it.

Hrutvij : The sacrifice of the freedom fighters made it possible for us to breathe in the free India.
Juhi : I feel so proud when I heard those patriotic songs !
Hrutvij : And the feeling while flag hosting can't be expressed in words !
Juhi : Salute to the Indian army who protects us day and night !
Hrutvij : So, will you like to go for a movie or celebrate the special day ?
