Each side of a rombus is 13cm and one diagonal is 10cm. Find
(i) the length of its other diagonal
(ii) the area of rhombus.​

one side rhombus = 13 cm

length of one diagonal = 10 cm

property to use: diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at 90 degree

taking 1/4 portion of rhombus (triangle)

base = 5 cm (half of diagonal)

hypotnuse = 13 cm

for perpendicular use pythagoras theorem

on putting the values in the equation and then solving it we get perpendicular(p)= 12cm

therefore diagonal = 2p= 24cm.
