Answer

  • 84 and 85

Given :-

  • 13²

To Find :-

  • Express the square of 13 as a sum of two consecutive natural number.

Solution :-

Let the two consecutive numbers be x and x+1

As per the question :-

 \hookrightarrow \sf{x + (x + 1) = 13 ^{2}  }

 \hookrightarrow \sf{x + (x + 1) = 169}

 \hookrightarrow \sf{2x + 1 = 169}

 \hookrightarrow \sf{2x =  169 }

 \hookrightarrow \sf{x =  \dfrac{ \cancel{169}}{ \cancel2} }

 \hookrightarrow \sf{x = 84}

  \begin{gathered}{ \boxed{ \underline{ \mathsf{ \green{.°. The \:  two \:  consecutive \:  numbers  \: are \:  84  \: and \:  85}}}}} \end{gathered}
