Explanation:

Given:-

  • Displacemet ,s = 5

  • Force ,F = 10 dynes

To Find:-

  • Energy ,E ( Work Done)

Solution:-

Firstly we convert the unit here

1 dyne = 10⁻⁵ N = 1/100000

Therefore , 10 dyne = 10/100000 = 1/10000 = 0.0001 N

Now, We have to calculate the energy spent by to displace the body.

Energy = Work Done = Force × Displacemet

E = Fs

substitute the value we get

→ E = 0.0001 × 5

→ E = 0.0005 J = 0.5 mili Joules.

  • Hence, the amount of energy spent is 0.5 mili Joules.

So, the required answer is (a) 0.5 MiliJoules.

Question:

Find the amount of energy spent to displace a body by 5m when pushed with a force of 10 dynes?

✿Options✿

  • 0.5 milli joules

  • 50 joules

  • 5 ergs

  • 50 ergs

Answer:

We know that,

work done = Force × displacement

Given ,

Displacement = 5m

Force = 10 dynes

= 10 * 10^-5 N

= 10^-4N

therefore,

work done : 5*10^-4 =

0.0005Joules

option (a)
