Given :

  • Area of Trapezium = 65cm²
  • Sum of parallel sides (a + b) = 39cm

To Find :

  • Find the height of the trapezium ?

Solution :

  • We know that,

➣ Area = ½ × (a + b) × height

According to the question :

  • Area = ½ × (a + b) × height

➣ 65 = ½ × 39 × height

➣ 65 × 2 = 39 × height

➣ 130 = 39 × height

➣ 130/39 = height

➣ 3.33 = height [approx.]

Hence,

  • The height of the trapezium is 3.33cm.
