⇒ ∠x + 120° = 180°

⇒ ∠x = 180° - 120°

⇒ ∠x = 60°

Now,

⇒ ∠BCD = 180°

⇒ ∠ACB + ∠ACD = 180°

⇒ 60° + ∠ACD = 180°

⇒ ∠ACD = 180° - 60°

⇒ ∠ACD = 120°

Now in ΔACD, ∠ADC = 36° and ∠ACD = 120°

⇒ ∠ACD + ∠ADC + ∠CAD = 180°

⇒ 120° + 36° + ∠y = 180°

⇒ ∠y + 156° = 180°

⇒ ∠y = 180° - 156°

⇒ ∠y = 24°
