1/fₙ = (μₓ/μₙ - 1)(1/R₁ - 1/R₂)   ------ (2)

Dividing (1) by (2), we get

fₙ/fₐ = (1.5 - 1/1.5/1.6 - 1) = -8

Pₐ = -5

μ/fₐ = 1/fₐ

fₐ = -1/5

Now,

fₙ = -8 * fₐ

  = -8 * -1/5

  = 8/5

Then,

Pₙ = μ/fₙ

   = 1.6/8 * 5

  = 1 D
