The important features of bar graph are as follows :
1. Bar graphs are used to represent unclassified frequency distribution.
2. Frequency of a value of a variable is represented by a bar whose length is equal to the frequency.
3. The breadth of the bar is arbitrary and the breadth of all the bars are equal.
4. Uniform spaces should be left between any two connective bars.
5. All the bars should rest on the same line called base.
