For a heater Power P = 4Kw = 4000w

Voltage of the supply , V = 220v

a) Current drawn by the heater , I= P/V

4000/220 = 18.1 A

b) Resistance of the heater ,R =

 \frac{ {v}^{2} }{p}

=

 \frac{220 \times 220}{4000}

= 12.1 ohm

c) Energy consumed in 2 hrs = P×t = 4 Kw× 2 hrs = 8 Kwh

d) Cost of energy if 1Kwh is priced at Rs. 4.60 = 8 × 4.60 = Rs. 36.8
