So, first of all we should know a little bit description about parallelogram –

A quadrilateral in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel is called a parallelogram. The symbol of parallelogram is (||)

Therefore, here let us know some properties about parallelogram :

• Here, for first property of a parallelogram I am going to show you an example –

Property (1) – Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.

Example :

→ Draw a parallelogram ABCD and then measure angle A and angle C. What do do you observe ?

➠ ∠A = ∠C

Therefore, similarly here ➠ ∠B = ∠D
