you are provided with three pieces of bars all of which has the same colour texture and shape one is a magnet one is a soft iron piece and another is a non magnetic piece ,say copper or aluminium..how to identify which one is the magnet, soft iron and copper just by using these three bars .....

My first thought is to place them on something small that floats enough to hold the weight of the bar without sinking.
