Explain about the melting and boiling point of elements from B to Ga

the melting point decreases from B to Ga and then show an increasing trend. however the boiling point decreases regularly. the deviation in melting point may be attributed to structural changes.
boron has very high m.p. because it exist as a giant civalent polymer in both solid and liquid state. the m.p. decreases from B to Ga and then increases.
