Question:
I toss three coins and roll two dice.
What is the probability of all the coins landing on tails or that I roll a 10?
It is not important whether one or both events happen.

Answer:
The probability is less than 0.20
The probability is greater than 0.22
The probability is between 0.21 - 0.22
The probability is between 0.20 -0.21
The probability is less than 0.10
It can't be determined

Answer:

The probability of getting less that 0.2

Step by step solution:

The possible outcomes when you toss three coins = 23=8

The favorable outcome are HTT, THT, TTH

So, the probability of getting one head (event A) = P(A) = 3/8

The possible outcomes when you throw a dice = 6 (1,2,3,4,5,6)

The favorable cases for getting an even number (event B) when you throw a dice = 3 (2,4,6)

So, the probability of getting an even number = P(B) = 3/6 = 1/2

Now, we have to calculate P(AB) = P(A)P(B) = 3/8 * 1/2 = 3/16 = 0.1875

Note: It is assumed that Probability of getting one head means exact probability of getting one head.
