If a magnet is broken into two pieces then each piece will have unlike poles. Since magnetic monopole does not exist so if you do the breaking process repetitively then you will end up with each piece having unlike poles.

if a magnet is broken into two pieces if a magnet is broken into two pieces it will have two non like poles such as north pole in South pole. yes it is an actual process so even if we break it regularly or uniformly it will only make non like poles at each side. we can test this by taking an marked magnet towards it. if at the pole the mark magnet gets repulsed then we may conclude that days are like poles and if got attracted then that are non like poles.
