\huge \colorbox{lightblue} {Answer}

x = (-23)+(22)+(-23)+(22)+.. .. .. .. 40 terms

Y = (11)+(-10)+(11)+(-10).. .. .. .. 20 terms

x = 20 pairs of (-23)+(22)= -1

There are 20 pairs so we will get - 1 [20 times]

So, x = - 1×20= -20

Y = 10 pairs of (11)+(-10) = 1

There are 10 pairs so we will get 1[10 times]

So, Y = 1 × 10 = 10

We have to find the value of:-

y - x = 10 - (-20)

= 10 + 20

= 30

Step-by-step explanation:

x = (-23)+(22)+(-23)+(22)+.. .. .. .. 40 terms

Y = (11)+(-10)+(11)+(-10).. .. .. .. 20 terms

x = 20 pairs of (-23)+(22)= -1

There are 20 pairs so we will get - 1 [20 times]

So, x = - 1×20= -20

Y = 10 pairs of (11)+(-10) = 1

There are 10 pairs so we will get 1[10 times]

So, Y = 1 × 10 = 10

We have to find the value of:-

y - x = 10 - (-20)

= 10 + 20

= 30
