Answer:
ABC is iscocelus triangle
If BC is Base of triangle then other 2 sides will equal
So
AC=AB
Make altitude AD
By using pythagoras
AD will half BC
BC will 10cm
AD=root (35^2 - 10^2)
AD root 1125

⛦Correct Question :-
- In an isosceles triangle ABC, if AB = AC = 35 and BC = 20 then the measure of altitude from A on BC is?
⛦Given:-
- ∆ABC is an isosceles triangle
- AB = AC = 35 unit
- Bc= 20 unit
⛦To find:-
- side AD
⛦Solution:-
In ∆ABD and∆ADB
<ADB= <ABD_______[each angle 90°]
AB = AC_________[given each angle 35°]
AD = AD_________[common]
then
∆ABD ≅ ∆ADB _____[by R-H-S criteria]
by cpct:-
BD= CD=10 unit
Now,in ∆ADB
By Pythagoras theorm__
⟼AD²+BD²=AB²
⟼AD²+10²=35²
⟼AD²=(35)²-10)²
⟼AD²=1225-100
⟼AD²=1125q
⟼AD=√1125
⟼AD≈ 33.5
