⛦Given:-

∆ABC is an isosceles triangle

AB = AC = 35 unit

Bc= 20 unit

⛦To find:-

side AD

⛦Solution:-

In ∆ABD and∆ADB

<ADB= <ABD_______[each angle 90°]

AB = AC_________[given each angle 35°]

AD = AD_________[common]

then

∆ABD ≅ ∆ADB _____[by R-H-S criteria]

by cpct:-

BD= CD=10 unit

Now,in ∆ADB

By Pythagoras theorm__

⟼AD²+BD²=AB²

⟼AD²+10²=35²

⟼AD²=(35)²-10)²

⟼AD²=1225-100

⟼AD²=1125q

⟼AD=√1125

⟼AD≈ 33.5
