Therefore a=18, b=180

Of course the answer is same.
you have solve it by squaring both the sides n I have it directly.....thats all...both r crt for sure..
But what is the value of b? The correct way is to square both sides and then do it. I'm not a math expert, but I sure don't agree with your method. That's for sure.
