Sakruti studied in class 7th standard. She was a bright student who was a quick study and held compassion for animals. She also had a pet rat named Tobu. Sakruti used to keep Tobu in an empty chocolate box where it was nice and comfy. Tobu liked to eat cheese, biscuits and was really fond of coke. One day Sakruti took Tonu with her to school. She kept the chocolate box in which Tobu was there in her bag. At recess she told all her friends about Tobu and that she had brought it to School. All the children were very excited to meet Tobu. They all played with it until the recess bell rang. Then Sakruti put Tobu back. In music class she thought to check whether Tobu was fine or not. The chocolate box was missing and so was Tobu. She started crying. When her teacher asked her that why was she crying, she told her everything. The teacher scolded her for bringing a rat to school. Sakruti apologized for it and the teacher told everyone to look for it. One child found the chocolate box. They opened it but it was empty, Tobu was not in it. Sakruti started crying again. Soon the bell rang and all of them went home. Her teacher told her that the school maid would find the rat for her. When Sakruti reached home, she opened her bag to take out her tiffin and water bottle. There she saw something moving. She looked more closely. It was Tobu! Tobu was in her bag! She was very happy and relieved.
