According to me!

a) it's not possible because friction not always opposes the motion of a body! it just opposes the relative motion! it can be in the favor of motion too!

b) Well that's certainly wrong as we all know that friction is not a perpendicular force!

c) Yeah that's correct. Because in this statement it's just written that friction is a tangential force which is a correct statement!
